The musical notation running down each sleeve transforms sound into a visual rhythm, reflecting her exploration of how Deaf experiences shape communication and perception. I’m obsessed with musical notes that aren’t quite, but almost, on the staff lines. I especially like the D notes; they represent a sense of impending doom. Are we doomed? Are they doomed?
